Weekly Practices for
January:
The purpose of a spiritual practice is to open a portal to your authentic
energy…that which is beyond density…when you take the time to fully embrace
a weekly practice you assist your energy to anchor greater presence and enjoy
greater abundant flow.
January 3 – January 9:
Each day this week gift yourself by Breathing deeply while setting the
intention to relax the mind and just be present in the moment.
Focus your gaze on a cloud or
a portion of the sky. Breathe in and out through that place in the sky. Just
imaging that each inhale is bringing cosmic energy from beyond this planet into
you.
Look THROUGH the cloud,
through the sky into the void of space. With your breath, draw the energy of
cosmic space into your being…let it fill you. Dwell here for as long as you
wish, and as your attention comes back to your body, just notice. Feel the
subtle re-charge of cosmic energy…feel the Peace of your divine connection.
January 10 – January 16
Decide this week to set aside a SPECIFIC time each day to do the following.
With your hand on your heart,
take a couple of deep spacious centering breaths…then ask: “What am I to know
at this time?”
Simply be present, be awake to
the sensations, thoughts and feelings that follow. Sometimes the voice of
Guidance comes to us through a felt sense of space, a shift in the quality of
our being-ness. Sometimes there is a sound or certain thoughts we find in our
head!
Pay attention, trust whatever
you do, or do not notice. Close the session by saying “thank you”. Sometime
the gift of guidance shows up in the time that follows a session. Be available!
January 17 – 23
Ahhh, journaling! Seems you
either love it or avoid it. This week we invite you to allow yourself the gift
of what if can unlock with the following practice.
Pick up your journal and write
at the top of the page: In this moment I am grateful for…… And fill in
multiple endings to that sentence stem.
Let your consciousness
discover more about what you are paying attention to.
After you have given a few
minutes to this practice, then write at the top of the page: I now choose
to….. And see what action steps are offered to your clarity as a result of
taking some moments in gratitude awareness.
January 24 – 30
We have found that
consistently through the years, one of the single greatest gifts given to this
world is the Mantra of Self-Ascension. Simple, powerful, concise!
I AM HERE. I AM READY. I
AM OPEN. GUIDE ME.
Write the mantra of
Self-Ascension on some sticky notes and place them in “unlikely places” around
your home, car and office. When you see one during the day, make a commitment
to place your hand on your heart and bring your attention to the mantra for full
60-seconds. Take a clearing breath and quietly recite the mantra to yourself.
Be present to your process and celebrate. This one simple actions will bring
extraordinary clarity and restoration energy into your life.
January 31 – February 6
OK, now that you’ve allowed
yourself to break through any journaling resistance, here is a technique that
will generate greater harmony in all or your actions!
This is a simple journaling
assignment and one that is best to start your day with! If you really do not
want to journal, then pull out a piece of paper, either way, simply begin with
the following every morning and watch the miracles unfold!
Write: Joy is my birthright!
Then respond to: Today it
would bring me Joy to……
